Yuozas — games, pixels, music & code

welcome.txt

Hi! I'm Yuozas — officially Juozas Žilys, but the Y saves everyone a pronunciation lesson. By day I'm a senior full-stack engineer keeping a large .NET/React platform healthy; by every other hour I make indie games, push pixels, live-code music, and once wrote a whole math book as scripture because the shapes asked nicely.

This is my home on the web, not a LinkedIn supplement — the menu is on the left, my current life is on the right, and the good stuff is everywhere. Soon I'll be streaming myself building things; the "currently" box will know before anyone else does.

Here to hire someone serious? The CV is one click away and wears a tie. Everyone else: welcome — sign nothing, touch everything

re: the cult

Around here things get named bible, scripture, heresy, the cult of 2 ↔ 3. That's a brand, not a belief system — my inner child holds the naming rights and refuses to give them back. It's how I have fun voicing ideas, never a swing at anyone serious or sacred: the reverence is theatrical, the math underneath is real and checkable.

If you need the version with a tie on, the CV exists and never says "heresy" once.

about me ♡
Yuozas as a chibi self-portrait, cat sweater and all

Vilnius, Lithuania. Ten years of music school before any code — that's where the "thinks in structure" muscle comes from. These days the same week can hold a Roslyn analyzer, a Godot prototype, a Strudel set, and a sketchbook page, and none of it feels unusual anymore.

this is me (the chibi is more accurate than any photo would be) More oversharing on the about page — I like it there.

(turn it — the radius will not change its length)

Two gives motion. Three gives form.

Two is Relation. It opens the plane, and in the plane there is rotation, and rotation is motion. Three is Form. It closes the triangle, and the closed triangle stands, and standing is stability.

The radius is the covenant: it may turn in any direction, but it will not change its length. That which stays the same while all else transforms is holy.

— from The Book of the Two and the Three, a scripture of cursed geometry I wrote. Every verse is checkable math — including this one, by hand. How it was made.

Best reached by email — or LinkedIn if you're feeling formal. What makes me answer fast: legacy C++ nobody else will touch, monoliths mid-strangulation, small game teams that actually ship, and open source with real users. The full appetite lives on the now page.

Average response time: one coffee. Mention triangles for priority support
